How we handle your data

Plain-language answers about security and privacy at VenturePath — what we protect, what we delete, and what we never do.

Encryption in transit and at rest

All traffic between your browser and VenturePath is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS), and your data is encrypted at rest on our hosting platform. We take a privacy-first approach across the product.

Credit report files are deleted fast

When you upload a credit report for analysis, the file is deleted immediately after analysis; any unprocessed upload is automatically purged within 24 hours. We keep only the structured summary that powers your dashboard — never the raw file. No one at VenturePath can view your uploaded report.

We never sell your data

We do not sell your personal information. The only third parties that process your data are the service providers named in our Privacy Policy — payments, email, hosting, and the AI provider that powers the Coach.

Delete your account yourself, anytime

You can delete your account directly from Settings — no email, no waiting. Deletion immediately removes your profile, learning progress, cards, chat history, and uploaded files, and cancels any active subscription. For fraud prevention we retain only an anonymized (hashed) email fingerprint that prevents free-trial abuse, and your address stays on our do-not-email suppression list so your unsubscribe is honored.

Payments are handled by Stripe

Checkout happens on Stripe's hosted payment page. Your card number never touches VenturePath's servers — we only receive confirmation that a subscription is active.
