Card issuers don't pay us. No ads. We don't sell your data.

VenturePath is free to learn. Paid plans are closed. Card issuers don't pay us, there are no ads, and we don't sell your data. We receive no compensation of any kind from banks or card issuers: not for showing a card, not for your click, and not for your application or approval.

This page explains where our issuer links go, how card suggestions are chosen, and what this means for you.

Where Issuer Links Go

Every "View on issuer's site" button goes straight to the issuer's own page with no affiliate tracking. Our links carry no referral codes, and we send the issuer nothing about you.

When you open an issuer's site, we record which card you chose, for our own statistics about which cards people find useful. The issuer never sees that record.

What This Means for You

Here is what you should know:

No one can pay for a better spot. No issuer can pay us to add a card, move it up the list, or change what we say about it.

Not all available cards are shown. Our platform features a short, curated selection of credit cards. There are many other cards on the market that are not listed on VenturePath. Our guide to secured cards explains why some cards you may expect aren't on our list, with each company's own words and the date we read them.

We do not guarantee approval. The "View on issuer's site" button takes you to the issuer's website, where you can review the card's terms and apply. VenturePath has no role in the application or approval process. Credit decisions are made solely by the card issuer based on their own criteria.

Card terms may change. Interest rates, fees, rewards, and other card details shown on our platform are for informational purposes and may change at any time. Always review the most current terms on the issuer's website before applying.

How Our Recommendations Work

Card suggestions on VenturePath come from what you tell us, never from payment:

• Your score range. Our card ladder groups cards into tiers by credit score range, from cards for people with no score yet up to premium cards. We show the whole ladder and label each card by how its tier compares with the score range in your profile: the range you told us, or the score from a credit report you uploaded yourself. We never pull your credit.
• Which ID number you have. If your profile has no US score yet, we ask whether you have an SSN, an ITIN or neither; we never ask for the number itself. Your answer stays in this browser tab, is not saved to your account, and decides which "View on issuer's site" buttons open and whether your dashboard suggests a card.
• Cards you already have. If you add your cards in My Cards, we mark them on the ladder so you can skip them or hide them.

Cards are never ranked or chosen by payment, because no one pays us. No issuer pays to be named in our lessons, guides, or AI Coach answers either. Our guides and lessons are reviewed by our founder, Andrey Kuzmin; AI Coach answers are generated by AI. Our Editorial Standards explain how we source, date, and correct our guides and lessons.

What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell your personal information to credit card issuers or any third parties.
• We do not share your VenturePath profile data (credit score range, goals, onboarding answers) with card issuers when you open an issuer's site.
• We do not provide financial advice, credit counseling, or credit repair services.
• We do not guarantee that any card will be right for you. Always do your own research.

Your Choices

You are never required to apply for any credit card through VenturePath. Our educational content, AI Coach, and Knowledge are available regardless of whether you interact with card recommendations.

If you prefer, you can go to any issuer's website directly. Our issuer links lead to the same public pages.
